Long description:
Provider of facilities and related services for commercial office buildings seeks experienced Benefits Analyst for varied responsibilities. You will primarily assist the department in preparation and interpretation of all benefit remittances to various unions for our front line employees. Candidate will also analyze new business opportunities and assist in preparing responses to bids and Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Incumbent must be a self-starter with strong analytical abilities and attention to detail. Prior human resources experience working with benefits in a labor-driven industry is preferred.

Responsibilities include:

•Reviewing and preparing all monthly and quarterly union benefit remittances for our union employees.

•Heavy interaction with union and accounting divisions.

•Reconciliation of account statements.

•Requests for Proposals and preparing bid submissions.

•Analyzing existing accounts for profitability.

•Making complex payment calculations.

•Performing analysis of prospective business.

•Communicating financial details of new accounts to management team.

•Issuing management reports.

Requirements

•Microsoft Excel - expert level skills

•Prior experience in dealing with union benefits, remittances, payments and billing analysis.

•Minimum 2 plus years experience in similar role

•Strong analytical ability.

•Professional written and verbal communication skills.

•Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business is preferable
